The event, which focused on the economic development and plans in the UAE, was attended by sheikhs, ministers, heads of local and federal departments and senior officials in the country. Deputy Director for Government Relations, Mr. Feras Al Tabbaa attended the event.

SUC COEC and SUC Director – Head of Marketing and Communications paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano
Mr. Nitin Anand, Executive Director and COEC of Skyline University College (SUC) and Mr. Rakesh Gaur, SUC Director – Head of Marketing and Communications paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II on November 21, 2018 to extend a scholarship proposal granting $200,000 to the youth of Kano who will be pursuing a degree in higher education at Skyline University College, Sharjah, UAE. This is in line with SUC’s mission of providing opportunities to students to obtain quality education regardless of nationality and cultural background.
Mr. Nitin Anand, Executive Director and Chair of the Executive Council of Skyline University College (SUC) has been distinguished as an Innovator in Education for this year’s Indian Innovator Award, Entrepreneur of The Year.
Chairman Skyline International Group and Founder President Skyline University College Mr. Kamal Puri is one of the panel speakers at the India-UAE Partnership Summit (IUPS) which happened earlier today, October 30, 2018, at Atlantis, The Palm – Dubai, UAE.
The IUPS is one of the initiatives of Business Leaders Forum (BLF), a prestigious organization of industry leaders of India and the UAE in which Mr. Puri is the Sector Chairman for Education.
The IUPS promotes investments between the UAE and India. This year’s highlights are investments in Education and startup businesses. The aim of the Summit is to create synergies and frameworks for strengthening and streamlining the flow of two-way investments that will help the key economic sectors of the two countries. It also serves as a platform for delegates to uncover investment opportunities and connect with other business leaders.
SUC faculty members and staff were present at the summit and were inspired by various visionaries, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and business experts.

Leaf, U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates on March 8, 2018 at Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai. The luncheon reception was organized by American Business Council in Dubai, U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, and AmCham Abu Dhabi as a gesture of thanking the Ambassador for her incredible service and to celebrate her accomplishments.
In line with the institutional goal “to continue to serve with dedication in the field of higher education to meet the changing needs of the society and develop responsible individuals without discrimination following ethical practices,” Skyline University College Executive Director Mr. Nitin Anand is always at the front to align with the Sharjah Government initiatives to promote the education in the UAE and in the region. Appreciating his zeal and passion for promotion of cause, H.E. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Founder and CEO of the Kalimat Group and Chairperson of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, has recognized the COEC’s effort and support with an award at the Horouf Reggio Conference on March 6-8, 2018 in Al Qasba, Sharjah. The Horouf Reggio Conference with the theme, “Make Learning Visible” was organized by Horouf, a subsidiary of Kalimat Group and was also attended by H.E. Marwan Ahmad Al Sawaleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs. The conference aimed at providing the educators in the UAE and in the region an opportunity to explore the “Reggio Emilia Approach” to education. The SUC team who attended the conference along with the COEC were: Deputy Director for Public Relations, Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa; Associate Professor, Dr. Anil Roy Dubey; Associate Professor, Dr. J. Shanmugan; and Assistant Professor Dr. Sharon Mendoza-Dreisbach.
The first One-Day Refresher Course in Management with Emphasis on Marketing, Finance, Leadership, and IT/ Pocket MBA organized by Skyline University College Centre of Continuing Learning (CCL) was successfully conducted on January 24, 2018 as published in Gulf Today, February 17, 2018 edition.
