The National Executive Committee of the Emirate of Sharjah for the Special Needs Olympics 2019 and Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services awarded a plaque of appreciation to Skyline University College for taking part in one of the world’s largest sports and humanitarian events this year, the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. Mr. Nitin Anand, SUC Executive Director and Chair of the Executive Council and Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa, Deputy Director for Government Relations received the award from H.E. Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Human Resource Department, on March 10, 2019.
Skyline, through its Services Committee, organized an interactive day for 150 participants of the Special Olympics on March 11, in which students prepared song and dance performances for the Special Olympics participants.
Skyline University College entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Refreshment (P.J.S.C) on March 10, 2019, in Dubai. Mr. Tarek El Sakka, the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Refreshment (P.J.S.C) and Mr. Nitin Anand, SUC Executive Director and Chair of the Executive Council, signed the MoU. The MoU highlights the scholarship fund allocated by SUC to enable Dubai Refreshment’s employees and their families to pursue higher education and identify training opportunities for the employees of Dubai Refreshments to further enhance their workplace skills which will result in higher productivity.
SUC’s Director for Marketing and Creative Communications, Mr. Rakesh Gaur, and Head of Corporate Affairs and Centre for Continuing Learning, Mr. Mohammad Rasheed Khalid were present during the signing.
SUC’s Dr. Nizar Sahawneh and his students received Certificates of Appreciation from the Economic Development Department of Sharjah for participating in the Economic Planning Forum on January 23, 2019. The event, which focused on the economic development and plans in the UAE, was attended by sheikhs, ministers, heads of local and federal departments and senior officials in the country. Deputy Director for Government Relations, Mr. Feras Al Tabbaa attended the event.

Mr. Nitin Anand, Executive Director and COEC of Skyline University College (SUC) and Mr. Rakesh Gaur, SUC Director – Head of Marketing and Communications paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II on November 21, 2018 to extend a scholarship proposal granting $200,000 to the youth of Kano who will be pursuing a degree in higher education at Skyline University College, Sharjah, UAE. This is in line with SUC’s mission of providing opportunities to students to obtain quality education regardless of nationality and cultural background.

Chairman Skyline International Group and Founder President Skyline University College Mr. Kamal Puri is one of the panel speakers at the India-UAE Partnership Summit (IUPS) which happened earlier today, October 30, 2018, at Atlantis, The Palm – Dubai, UAE.
The IUPS is one of the initiatives of Business Leaders Forum (BLF), a prestigious organization of industry leaders of India and the UAE in which Mr. Puri is the Sector Chairman for Education.
The IUPS promotes investments between the UAE and India. This year’s highlights are investments in Education and startup businesses. The aim of the Summit is to create synergies and frameworks for strengthening and streamlining the flow of two-way investments that will help the key economic sectors of the two countries. It also serves as a platform for delegates to uncover investment opportunities and connect with other business leaders.
SUC faculty members and staff were present at the summit and were inspired by various visionaries, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and business experts.
