An interactive session was held at Skyline University where the BBA students with Tourism specialization, had an opportunity to
learn from experiences of Mr Ajmal Hassan in developing Mleiha Archeological Eco Tourism Project, recently been launched at Sharjah. "SHUROOQ is committed to promote investment opportunities and also towards its responsibility towards the environment. Mleiha is already known for its history, archeological sites, sand dunes and fossil rock and now we have created a tourist product by adding participative activities, fun, adventure and food while keeping the primary objective to preserve and conserve the nature and built environment", Mr Hassan enthused. The students found the interaction quite interesting. "I knew Eco Tourism concept from accommodation perspective but it was new to me to know about Government authorities developing such Eco Tourism focused attractions", said Wesam, BBA student.
