Skyline University College has successfully gathered diplomats, government officials, corporate and media partners in an exclusive Suhoor Night in this auspicious month of Ramadan last night, June 5, 2017, at Al Majlis, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Director of Labour Offices Department H.E. Sheikh Abdulrahman Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority-Shurooq CEO H.E. Marwan Bin Jassim Al Sarkal along with Consul General of India H.E. Vipul, Consul General of Morocco H.E. Abderrahim Rahhaly, Consul General of Azerbaijan H.E. Parviz Ismailzada, Consul General of Sri Lanka H.E. Charitha Yattogoda and diplomatic representatives from the consulates of Angola, USA, Ireland, Russia and Peru graced this intimate gathering. Skyline University College Services Committee has initiated a Ramadan Community Service entitled “Ramadan Trainers’ Training” to Kabayan Non-Profit Organization (KNPO)—a group professional volunteers who teach their expertise to the Filipino Community—by providing them with free trainings on Organizational Values, Excel Class, and Mental Health Workshop among others. SUC Research Committee Chair and Associate Professor Dr. Nadir Ali Kolachi conducted the first training session on Organization Values last May 26, 2017 at SUC campus. The participants found the contents of the workshop helpful that mainly targeted on practical activities based on time management, stress management, being successful professionals and practices of social acceptance. The Ramadan Trainers’ Training coordinator is SUC Assistant Professor Dr. Sharon Mendoza-Dreisbach with SUC Services Committee coordinator Associate Professor Dr. Mahesh Agnihotri. The workshops are conducted as part of the CSR activities of SUC.

SUC observes the breaking of the fast within its community and be at one with our Muslim brothers and sisters in this religious practice. Skyline University College Corporate Affairs Office headed by Mr. Pawan Bhatia has organized an Alumni Lecture Series yesterday, May 23, 2017, at SUC campus. The invited former SUC student and now DU Director for Enterprise Channel Marketing was Mr. Faisal Bashir. Mr. Bashir shared his career journey to the students and gave inspirational tips on how to be successful.
The Teacher's Workshop at Skyline University College in association with TYV - The Young Vision Magazine, saw approximately 150 teachers participating from various schools in the UAE. Mr. Rakesh Gaur inaugurated the workshop and introduced the key speaker, Dr. Riktesh Srivastava who discussed the Role of Technology in Education, more importantly in teaching.
