Empowering Filipino Workers: A Successful Community Service Event for Skill Enhancement and Development

40 Filipino Domestic Helpers attended the whole day workshop, where they learned valuable skills in IT, journaling, well-being and happiness, and team building. Our team of esteemed professors and experts, including Dr. Beenu Mago, Dr. Kakul Agha, Dr. Waleed Alomoush, Dr. Ayat Ahmed Alrosan, Mr. Fozan Alhammadi, and Ms. Rachel Salinel, delivered excellent sessions that were well-received by the participants. The closing ceremony featured a message of hope and inspiration from Atty. John Rio Bautista, the Philippine Attaché to Dubai & Northern Emirates, and was attended by Mr. Jim Jimeno, Vice Consul of Philippines to Dubai & Northern Emirates. The workshop is organized by collaborative effort by Mr. Roel Pulangco, Dr. Sharon M. Dreisbach, Ms. Rachel Suratos, Ms. Depsy Pearl Laurino, Ms. Iris Melody Mendoza, Ms. Janeryl Tamondong, Mr. Jayson Caole, and Ms. Helen Rallos.
