UAE Innovation Month

To encourage the culture of innovation in the university, Skyline University College participates in the week-long activities to celebrate the UAE Innovation Month. Several local and federal government entities and universities have join the exhibition at the University City Hall, Sharjah, to feature ground-breaking concepts and works.

Skyline features the innovative project of its student Ms. Sidra Naeem. Ms. Sidra’s concept is the EPI TRACK, a smart health care watch with sensors along with a mobile application. The sensors installed in it will send an alert to the family members whenever a patient might have an epileptic attack. On the first day of the exhibit, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, visited the SUC stand and commended this innovative project.

SUC’s mission is to deliver Innovative, Enterprising, and Techno-Creative Education. To accomplish this mission, it gives full support to aspiring entrepreneurs like Ms. Sidra. Apart from this, it established the Skyline Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club (SEIC) Centre, which encourages budding entrepreneurs with business strategies and improve their skills in all aspects of business under the full supervision and guidance of SUC faculty members and experts from the industry.

Visit the SUC stand at University City Hall, Sharjah, and feel free to ask questions to our faculty members and students who will be there until February 14, 2019.
