3rd Diplomat Cricket Championship Cup 2019
The cricket team of the Consulate General of India bagged the 3rd Diplomat Cricket Cup in the championship games held at Skyline University College on January 31 and February 2, 2019. H.E. Charitha Yattagoda, Consul General of Sri Lanka, and H.E. Mogobo David Mugabe, Consul General of South Africa played all the matches and represented their respective Consulates. H.E. Charitha Yattagoda, and H.E. Mogobo David Mugabe attended the awarding ceremony also, along with Mr. Sanjeev Kumar – Consul, Press Information Culture, Consulate General of India and several diplomats from the participating consulates.
The Diplomat Cricket Championship Cup is an annual event organized by Skyline University under the permanent patronage of Consulate General of India. The event is organized to strengthen tie ups and showcase sportsmanship spirit amongst the playing consulates in the Year of Tolerance.
