The ELC follows the directions provided by the long range strategic plan - 2012-2017 to enhance the services offered to the student body that is aspiring to join BBA, MBA programs. In order to facilitate the proper implementation of the strategic plan ELC prepares semester & annual plans.
ELC conducts TOEFL, IELTS, City & Guilds placement tests for admission to the BBA and MBA Program. It also conducts training programs for Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) and City along with IELTS and City and Guilds IESOL Exam.
What is the role of English Language Centre (ELC)?English Language Centre (ELC) trains the students to develop four language skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and speaking to enable them to appear for the IELTS exam. It also offers Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) Preparatory Course ELC aims to equip the students to comprehend the concepts with clear perception. ELC also offers mathematics crash course under the guidance of the academic faculty members from general education section of the BBA Program.

Does Skyline offer any preparatory Courses?Skyline offers City & Guilds IESOL Preparatory course, the duration of which is 45 hours.
It also offers Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) Preparatory Course to those students whose competency in English language skills is not adequate. After the completion of this course, the students will undergo Academic IELTS preparatory program. Upon the completion of this course, based on their score the students will be moved to BBA program. ELC offers an exclusive IELTS course both Academic and General.

The duration of these courses will range from one week to one month, based on the needs of the students. All these courses will have periodical tests and final test after which the students are given proficiency certificates.
