Dr. A M Sakkthivel is working with Skyline University College as a Professor of Marketing. He holds a Ph.D in Business Administration (Marketing) from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India. He also has done certification of EEC (Entrepreneurship Educator Course) with Honors from Stanford University, USA, IIM Bangalore and National Entrepreneurship Network, India, MBA in Marketing and Finance and BBM in Marketing and Finance from Bharathiar University, India. He has more than 20 years of academic, industry, research, consulting and training experience. He taught at leading international and Indian institutions such as European University of Lefke, TRNC, Turkey, Sur University College, Sur, Sultanate of Oman, IFIM Business School, Bangalore, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai, St. Peter’s University, Chennai, PES University, Bangalore, India etc. to name a few.

He has published 36 papers in leading international (SSCI, ABDC and Scopus indexed) and national journals, 46 paper presentations in leading international and national conferences in different countries, authored a book on Cyber Marketing and contributed 16 book chapters in leading edited books (IGI Global, USA), 15 practitioner oriented articles etc. His works are appeared in Princeton University Library, USA, National Library of Australia (Database), Copenhagen Business School, Denmark etc.

He is a part of editorial and review board with many leading international journals including Journal of Promotion Management, USA (ABDC ‘B’ category Journal). He is honored with Best Professor in Marketing Management by CMO Asia at Singapore in 2010 along other awards of contributing quality research works. His research interests are in Consumer Behavior, Cyber Marketing, Virtual Marketing, Modeling Customer Life Time Life, Consumer Behavior towards Technology products, Brand Communication, Advertising tools, women consumer behavior, Marketing Information, Advertising Tools, Brand Communications, Marketing Environments, Mobile Communications Response, Consumer behavior of technology products/Life Style Products/Consumer Durables/Communications.
