The Centre for Continuing Learning (CCL) caters to the needs of the people for their professional development and by training in the fields of aviation, airfreight, information technology, marketing, management, events , travel, tourism, and others. This department also conducts training program for the executives working in both government and private sectors. Certificate programs/boot camps/ summer schools are designed and delivered to school and college students across the globe.

CCL enables the participants to gain / enhance knowledge and specific skills required by them for professional growth. The department focuses on providing scheduled training at different levels in different areas of the industry.

The Department is responsible to build a strong brand image & project the core values of Skyline University College (SUC) to the prospective candidates, SUC community & general public locally & internationally. The aim of the department is to reach the target segment by participating in various promotional activities, locally & internationally.

The CCL department consists of three divisions namely:

Centre for Professional Development (CPD): Centre for Professional Deveopment offers different professional courses which are internationally recognized and globally accepted. The divison caters to the training needs of travel & tourism, finance & accounting, marketing, information technology and other related areas in the field of management.

Centre for  Executive Education:This division of CCL designs and conducts training programs for the executives working in both private and government sectors. This division will conduct detailed training need analysis and will design and deliver the programs as per the requirements of the organization.SUC encourages and promotes its faculty members to organize Executive Development  programs for the general public, government organizations, semi government and private organizations in the region. To ensure professional outlook is accorded to these programs and quality of the programs delivered is maintained an appropriate mix of academics and industry input is encouraged. The main goal of this division is to design and deliver customized executive development programs of quality in to different areas of management.

Centre for Pocket MBA and Boot Camps:

The main objective of this division of CCL is to design and conduct certificate programs/boot camps/summer schools for school and college students across the globe. As part of the program the participants will also visit major tourist destinations in Dubai during the program.

  • What are the short term courses provided by CCL department?

    CCL offers short term courses in the subject areas of Travel and Tourism, Accounting, Aviation, Finance, Events and Human Resource.
  • What is the duration of courses available at CPD department?

    Fees and duration varies from course to course. The details for each course are listed in the respective section of the website.
  • What is the criterion for admission to the short term courses?

    Anyone who has finished Grade 10 and above 16 years can apply for the short courses with average English and Math skills.
  • What are the documents required for the registration?

    Admission requirements required are passport copy, visa copy, 2 passport size photographs and the course fee with the copy of highest attained qualification.
  • Do you provide international certificates for the courses?

    Our professional courses are internationally recognized and globally accepted.

    We are approved centre for following international organizations-

    A. International Air Transport Association (IATA) Authorized Training Centre: SUC has been awarded as Top Performing ATC in Middle East in 2013 and has secured the Top 10 award continuously three times in a row.

    B. A Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) Approved Study Centre: The SUC has been approved by UK based Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality as a study centre for their courses in Travel, Tourism & hospitality.

    C. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Computer Based Examination Centre: SUC has been the CBE centre for ACCA course since 2009 onwards.

    D. General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA): SUC has been approved by the GCAA to conduct the courses related to dangerous Goods for all categories.

  • I'm currently employed in a company, do you provide any fee waiver for the working employees?

    Yes, there is a discount applicable on showing the Employee ID Card for Sharjah Government Employees. For corporate discount the registration must be done through the responsible authority of the corporate.
  • Are these courses offered in the evening as well?

    ​Yes, we have evening and weekend classes depending upon the requirement of the students.
  • Do you provide transportation facilities as well?

    Yes, we provide transportation to the students from the selected locations in Sharjah, Dubai and Ajman.
  • Do you provide a Visa or visa assistance?

    We provide VISA for the following courses:

    1) ACCA

    2) CTH Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management

    3) CTH Diploma in Events Management

  • What is the difference between self-study and classroom study?

    Self-study courses require the students to study on their own with a book, eBook, or a CD, and then go to a physical location to take an examination. Class Room courses can be done entirely in the class conducted by a qualified trainer.
  • Where can I collect my admission kit and study material?

    Students after enrollment may directly approach the administration department counter to collect the admission kit only after that they need to proceed to collect the study material from the library after displaying your payment receipt and admission kit.
  • When the exams are scheduled for IATA Courses?

    Exams are scheduled in MAR, JUN, SEP and DEC for all courses.
  • How can I collect my hall ticket?

    Finance department distributes the hall tickets to the students who have paid their all dues. To receive the hall ticket students are supposed to clear any previous pending dues before one week .
  • How long is the validity period for my course enrollment?

    The validity period for all Distance Learning courses except Dangerous Goods Regulations is six (6) consecutive examination sessions from your first eligible exam session.

    The validity period for Dangerous Goods Regulations is four (4) consecutive exam sessions from your first eligible exam session.

  • When is the enrollment deadline?

    ​Please contact administration for the dates and visit our website to view our enrollment deadlines for the corresponding exam sessions.
  • What if I fail the IATA Foundation exam?

    IATA provides two additional attempts to clear the exam in case of failure or absence in the first attempt exam. The second attempt and third attempt exams will be conducted with the upcoming regular schedule of IATA exams . Students need to check the deadlines immediately after their result declaration to avoid any delay.
  • Where can I get the exam result and how can I collect my diploma?

    The exam result is forwarded to your email id given at the time of registration and the diplomas can be collected from the administration department after SMS notification from the university to collect your certificate.
